The flight from Chicago to London was quick and quiet. We each had our own video screen with a selection of movies and television shows to watch. VEEP and Curb Your Enthusiasm were great. Snow White and The Huntsman was the WORST. We should have slept instead.
There were only a handful of Americans heading to Prague, mostly students traveling London. We had a car service pick us up from the airport, and we had a nice treat when the driver put us in a brand new BMW 500 series. Sweet ride!
The hotel is so amazing with interesting archetecture and Baroque design. The building is over 500 years old! The elevator is literally the size of our front hall closet. No jumbo American sizes here.
The hotel is having a wine and cheese party at 5pm, so we are going to get cleaned up and venture down. We were greeted at the frint desk with hot towels and champagne. Not a bad start, I say!
